Some of the best pizza I've ever had. The Luce is a favorite, but you can't go wrong unless you choose toppings you don't like. We've only gotten delivery so the 5 stars for atmosphere go to the pizza boxes and the ease and speed of ordering online.
I loved Pizza Luce. I visited it while I was in town to see a Twins game, and it was the perfect stop on the way to the park. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. The cocktails were good, and the servers were attentive. Their pizza was delicious, and I really enjoyed their artichoke dip. If I ever find myself in Minneapolis again, I will definitely come back!
I’ve been living in the twin cities for quite some time and pizza Lucé is literally my safe space. The best server/bartender in the world is Ricky. Unfortunately he only works during the day but oh my gosh. I feel so safe here. He makes me laugh and we keke just about anything while he focuses on other customers. From the food to the atmosphere. Especially the chief and the hosts. It does get crowded at times but the drinks are just so worth it and cheap even down to the food. Everytime I just need to get away or breathe, I come here. Another bartender/server I want to give a shoutout to is he always wears a cowboy hat and works the night shift with the cool beard (forgot his name) Love him down. So attentive and makes sure u are taking care of. Quick service, nice conversation, and they even go as far as to give u recommendations on where to explore in the city. If I need to pregame before the club or just meet with friends for a drink, this is the place. I am African American as well and I have not once felt ostracized or left out which most bars in the cities does feel like that especially downtown. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while because the service is just always 10/10. Even the music! I love me some pizza Lucé ❤️
Phenomenal food does not begin to describe our experience. The Luce pizza was amazing. The winter special, a spicy pesto pasta, was delicious. The pretzel was fluffy. Mustard tasted like something was missing, but was still delicious. The bartender taking care of us provided excellent service. We are in town for 5 days and we will be making sure we visit at least once more while here.
Pizza Lucé always exceeds expectations with their consistently quality pizza. My food is always hot and delivered in a timely manner. No complaints, as usual!!
What a great place to spend time eating delicious pizza. The atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming. Our server was so kind and helpful. She said she’s been there for 12 years because it’s such a good place to work. I was visiting from out of town, first time to Minneapolis. This place came recommended by the hotel staff and I am so grateful.
Pizza Luce is always an amazing pick-me-up. I've ordered from here so many times that I wonder if the employees ever question my mental health, lol. It's also such a relief and a RARITY for a pizza place to have so many incredible vegan options! I've found that most pizza joints just cannot nail down the vegan cheese, but not with Pizza Luce. I typically get the Ri"not"ta (their vegan cheese made with cashews and tofu) and it never messes up my stomach, and tastes godly. This place is an absolute must for vegans. Everyone is so friendly. Delivery orders always come quick. The orders are pretty much always perfect. There was only one messup EVER, and that was when the tofu on my vegan Fire-breathing Dragon pizza was burnt (which typically never happens.) I wasn't even going to say anything, but there was a message asking how my order was, so I just told them "it's usually perfect, but the tofu was a bit burnt on this one." And they told me that the next time I ordered they would give me a pizza for free, delivery and all. There aren't many restaurant chains that are willing to go above and beyond like that just to prove their quality! They've absolutely retained me as a customer and I've ordered countless times since. Mistakes are far and few between anyway. My go to's are their vegan Fire Breathing Dragon pizza, the vegan spaghetti , and their Molly Bar (a vegan GF brownie, accurately named. ) I work swing shift and it's so nice that there's a delivery place still open until 2:30am when I come home from work so I can look forward to a yummy, filling meal after a long shift. Also, I love that they have their own delivery service instead of the hellscape realm that is Doordash and Ubereats. Delivery fees with Pizza Luce are dirt cheap and there arent any "junk fees"! If you order a $20 pizza you're only paying like $22 for it to be delivered (not counting tip ofc.) Overall they are speedy, consistent, and delicious, and i will continue to be a proud vegan supporter
The Mac and cheese was super Gouda. Beautiful plating, generous portions, and our server Autumn was an absolute sweetheart. We will definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu!
Pizza Lucé is amazing! I come here whenever I'm in town and it's definitely a highlight of my trip. I love that they have tons of vegan options. Everything I've ordered here has been great. This time we tried the summer special Watermelon Salad and Peach Flatbread- both were the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The Ube Colada was delicious as well! Interesting flavors that mixed well, and looks pretty too. The veggie meatballs were also amazing, served with lots of sauce and garlic bread. What's not to love? Definitely recommend!
